As a major stimulant to the fashion industry especially, Anna Wintour, “American Vouge” editrix extraordinaire, decided to add some caffeine to the struggling retail economy in September 2009 by throwing the largest party across Manhattan. With the help of the city, retailers, and many major names in the fashion world, Fashion’s Night Out was born kicking off New York’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
FNO, now simply known, is celebrated worldwide. Last year 18 countries participated with over 4,500 fashion retail extravaganzas!
Fashion’s Night Out disembarks in the Cherry Creek North Shopping Area for its inaugural year. MLFurs, an honored and a proud participant of the Runway Fashion Show at Fillmore Plaza, will flaunt the hottest runway fur trends this season from Zandra Rhodes, Zac Posen and Zuki. Illuminating the Plaza, the stage will be set for the models to strut their way down an 88-foot catwalk spectacle.
Denise Plant of Kosi 101.1 and KUSA will host the fashion show. Please join us by spreading the word and purchasing tickets to this can’t be missed soirée. Fillmore Plaza opens to the fashionable enthusiastic VIP guests at 7:30 P.M. There will be a cocktail hour and a Pre-Runway Show beginning at 8:30 P.M followed by the main event at 9 P.M.
As a fundraiser, the fashion show benefits Goodwill Industries of Denver’s programs that outfit individuals for success, bringing further awareness to their impact on the local community. (MLFurs will also donate merchandise to this charity.)
